Just about two weeks ago I went through fixing the same problem with my Suburban furnace.
My furnace had intermittent no fire problems. Long story short it was the gas valve. It still "clicked", but no gas. My diagnosis was verified by a heating service technician friend.
$150 and some work later, heat! Gook luck.
