Hi all,

Okay, just one last nagging problem and hopefully we are on the road in a day or so! I have been fighting my ELII system in my 1978 for a while now and don't seem to be making much progress.. here is what I have.

My drivers side leaks down over 6 hours or so. The passenger side stays up forever. The drivers side also took a very long time to pump up, and the pump seems to want to keep running forever even with all of the switches off. Replaced the pump with a "new" take off. The problem has not gone away.

I started to then replace some other parts that were suspect. The switches have all been replaced with new. The relays that operate the pumps have been replaced with new. The two diodes were replaced with new as they were installed. I also took 12v from the house system during the process to give the pumps a few more amps as was suggested.

The air bags are the new two bag system from JimK, and in the ELII system there is a minimal amount of air hose in the system. I have checked all of the fittings for leaks but do not find any.

Today I swapped the air lines only from the pumps to the opposite side of the coach. I get a leak down on the passenger side now as expected.

My leak down now has to be back through the pump, but the solenoid valve should be stopping this from taking place correct? As for the pump continuing to run is this caused by it being unable to maintain pressure (with the switches off?!?), or should I be looking at that fancy height sensor in the wheel well?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks again,

Drew
