Many of you know that my wife and I are searching for that just right GMC coach. Reading through the Black List and elsewhere I see a number of references to "have bearing tool". What is this mysterious tool and why is it so important? Back in the old days before hubs it was common practice to repack the front wheel bearings and occassionally replace them. Does the GMC require a special tool to seat the bearings in the race? I also see references to what I think amounts to a bearing buddy approach to repack the bearings without pulling the whole assy. Inquiring minds want to know, what is so special about the GMC bearings?

Thanks
