You might try getting out and going to all of your GM dealerships and see if the service writer/service manager will let you talk to their "oldest" mechanics. (The ones that are our age nearing retirement.) The old gear-head mechanics that remember & have experience with q-jets and big block GMs. Find out who they would recommend working on their own favorite toys. They should be able to point you to an independent that has "Toronado" or "GMCMH" experience.
