Call me old school, but I proved again why new cars aren't all that. Neighbor with a new heart pacemaker had to get to the doctor for his check up appointment and got his new Altima stuck in the alley. I got the call to come help. With drive by wire accelerator, computer control and traction control you CANNNOT rock the car out. I tryed and yes I've driven in Chicago since the 60's. The computer will just say NO and keep the engine at idle. Very wimpy. Gas pedal becomes a useless unreponisve wet sponge. Very frustrating when any analogue controled car could be rocked out safely. Can you imagine being stuck on the side of the road and freezing to death because the car is stuck and it won't LET you rock it out. It's too smart for your own good. To me this is a bigger issue than the whole Toyota braking and sticking gas pedal thing. Also with the aero pans underneath there is really no where to attach a tow strap and the ground clearance stinks too.
