So it is Super Bowl Sunday. I do not know who is playing but I do know that it is in Miami. I am sure it is warmer there although today it is sunny and 26 F here. There is only about 3 inches of snow. It has been a very mild here this winter. The coach is tucked away in an unheated garage. I go look at it once and awhile but it is too cold to do any work.
I spoke with John Shotwell yesterday. He has insulated and heated his new northern Ohio garage. That is a very nice feature. I hope to be gone from the cold again in the future so I do not plan on heating mine.
I most probably will travel south in April and May. Kentucky and Tennessee for the most part.
I know that I have mentioned this before but it gives us a chance to remember a couple of people special to many of us. Mary and I attended our first rally in 2003 in Orange Lake Florida. We met many nice people including Bobby Moore. He told us if he could only attend one rally, it would be Bean Station. Well, Mary and I wanted to but never did. So this year "I'm agonna try".
I have been listening to a lot of bluegrass and classic country lately. It helps me practice my accent ya'll. I have a grandmother from Georgia and a grandfather from Virginia so I consider myself a displaced Southerner. I look forward to getting back there and seeing the red buds in bloom. And I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, putting faces to names and meeting new GMCer's.
I hope that all of you enjoy today doing whatever interests you. Thanks to all of you for your contributions to the net. Spring is coming so start planning those trips and use the GMC that you put so much work into. See you down the road.

Rick
