Well I need some help in finding a new water heater for our 77 Royale. It has the original and it is time for a change. This last year the heat exchanger started to leak and I disconnected it so we could make our last long trip. What we have is an Atwood and I want to replace it with a like unit with the heat exchanger. What I need is the Atwood model number so that I can get the right 6 gallon unit. I am not interested in the use of electrical heat for the water as I think I would have to upgrade the electrical box to take the increase in load. I just need to replace the gas and heat exchange unit that I now have. So what do I need to look for?
