Hi,

I have a 403 1978 or 1977 engine in my 76 Birchaven. I noticed that the evap hose to the engine is tucked, very neatly, under the carb. Not attached to anything. I have had it smoged 3 times and it was never caught. I decided to hook it up, but can’t determine where to connect it. I looked in my 77 olds shop manual and it looks to be hooked to the air cleaner. This air cleaner came with the engine and has no connector.

Does any one know, for sure, where the factory connection is supposed to be?
