Might still be better than landing on roadway. <g> Call Jim and ask him if usable. And, out there 14 miles ain't bad, unless you would have to walk, of course.

The small strip at QZ is not the one that is being referenced here. The QZ
one is right on the swap meet site. If you take the first exit going east,
left turn back across the freeway and then make the first left at the Burger
King. Go up about a 1/4 mile and the landing strip is right there. Its right
in the area where they have the tractor and old engine display. I have no
idea whether it is FAA approved or not only that lots of small planes,
ultralights, paragliders, etc use it during the swap meet.
