I kinda feel like a red headed step child here, another problem.
This one is not so major:
Last night I slammed the door, too hard I guess, as our door latches easy with Bert's door pin. Now it will not latch. There are 2 half moons,in the door, that grab the pin and lock to keep it latched. Those half moons are not holding. If I pull it shut and lock it the top half moon latches and therefore so does the bottom one, and the door stays shut. I plan to take it apart today to see what is broken. Has anyone had this experience before? What am I going to find? I have only had this apart once and that was 4 years ago.
Bob and Jeff made it home safely from our work day yesterday. Great couple of guys. Our first meeting with Jeff.

I believe we keep a set here if you might need it.
It has all the modifications done to it per Jim B.

If you need parts off of mine until you get what you need, come on up. Mines inside and I'm not going anywhere for a little while. Smile

Thanks Jim and Jeff. I just shot some silicon lube on the springs and the latch is working. In fact, better than before. So, I will not open it up for surgery just yet.

You know what's so funny--yesterday when I closed your door for the first time, I thought "darn that door is sweet". Mine is noisy and takes a good slam. BTW another really neat idea is to find a way to drive each others coaches. Most of us have only driven one. I immediately noticed how different your's was than mine--not good or bad--just different.

Bob, Our door has always closed very nicely since we installed Bert Curtis' door pin. In fact, I got the first one that he built while I was mooching free rent from him a couple years back. Bert is a fine fella and if you have no fear of heights I invite you to go visit him for a week or two. Very Happy

I also most visited them last November, but I ended up in Port Cosa with the 49ers instead. Looks Like I'll need to make anther trip that direction.
