No - I think Craig's list prompts for a $. the key comment in the description is "Please look at the unit and make an offer".

Gmcers,

I contacted to inquire what price he had inmind and i got a somewhat rude answere.he said (the add says make an offer)nothing more nothing less.a somewhat rude responce when all i can read in the add is sale or trade price is $1.unless you live close enough to go see it as he suggests.how are you to know what condition and or what to offer.i mean i could say 500?to 5000?

he coulda been more forthcomming with a price i dident want to insult him or lowball an offer.and you cant contact the storage facility yet he gives all that info to.kinda odd if he wants to sell the rv he should have them take detailed photos at least.

So we know what shape its in to some degree

Ahhh he probably is aware he has no idea what its worth. Maybe he
saw that show Pawn Stars (a real hoot of a tv show by the way)
where the girl came in with a 1914 $20 bill and was thinking it
was worth maybe a couple hundred bucks, then the boss calls his
coin / currency expert in to look at it and the guy says its worth
maybe $2grand . Anyway theres alot of stuff on Craiglist listed
for a buck because they force you to put in a price when you
create the ad.

Coach appears to be a 23' with the 23-2 floor plan as far as I can tell.
Exterior looks in nice condition but the interior is definitely factory
original. It appears to have the WELD wheels. IMHPO the coach is a $5K to
$7K range coach. You would still need a complete survey to submits a
meaningful bid.

There were 2 23' coaches produced in 1976. The Crestmont and the
Birchaven. This appears to be Crestmont 23'.

John,

Seems we are talking about two different coaches. The 26 foot on craigslist <http://tucson.craigslist.org/rvs/1532678198.html> and the 23 foot on shutterfly.

The 23 looks like a Sidebath Birchaven to me. Birch's had two floorplans, side and rear bath. I THINK the Crestmonts where all rear baths.

Mike: Crestmonts have side baths also, but all were 23's I believe. I think it might be a Birchaven.

Now whos gmc are we discussing here??

Theres 3 so far in this thread and somehow we got way off topic!you have to figure thats a 76 Birch that was stored for 8 years.so its not bad i am simply suprised it runs. The dipstick i recall is under the oil fill cap like a power stering pump.ill have to check that out.but other than being worked on i have done nothing else to the generator.

Any other questions?
its a 76 Birch with side bath 23 foot.
