Is there anyone besides me who does not like the magnification feature now on the photo site? I find it to be a annoying. The photo resolution is such that detail that might be enhanced is lost. Is there any way for me to disable it?

Bill,

I was wondering yesterday whether its magnification could be changed to X2
instead of the apparent X4. I agree that the resolution of the basic photos
is not high enough to support X4, but with X2 the feature could be useful.

I'd call it a feature that gets in the way. It would be nice if it was an
option instead of a piece of code running constantly to see if your cursor
is over the primary image. You know, click on a magnifying glass to enlarge
something. One thing about it is that all images uploaded would need to be
double what the main image is. That gets a bit difficult to manage among
people that do what they want.

I didn't like it much either. Might be useful if it were selectable when needed
but it's not written that way.

I've turned it off. Just holler if you need it back on.
