I learned today that nobody has the cover gasket for the 3:21 toro/eldo cover. One interesting thing is that both Checker and Autozone's computers call the flange gasket (between the trans and the diff) the cover gasket, which also coincidentally has eight holes in it too. The Fel Pro book doesn't even list the 8-hole cover gasket, but lists 10 and 13 hole covers...

Soo, I guess I'll be cutting my own. Why don't the gasket sheets come flat instead of a roll, anyway? Mad

Chris,

I find it satisfying to cut gaskets with a ball-pein hammer. Reminds me of my daddy.

The newer gaskets for the 3.07 are two pieces because the venting.
The 3.21 cover does not have a vent like in the 3.07 so just trace the
inside and outside of the housing for the gasket.

I got my 3.21 gasket from John Biwersi. IIRC he makes them for the 3.21's that he rebuilds. Try contacting him at:

Thanks all, I figured if Manny didn't send me one with the tranny, he didn't have them. I'll just make my own tomorrow. Got used to it when I used to rebuild my old one barrel carb on my '66 Chevy II back in High School.

A youngster eh?
In 1966 I was on an all expense paid vacation in Asia paid for by the US Army. I think I saw Ken H. overhead in his climate controlled bird grabbing satellites out of the sky.

Ken,

In 1966 I wasn't actually born yet, I'm a 1967 model year. My 1966 Nova was my car in High School in 1983. Laughing

The other option is to get a Ragusa Aluminum cover for the 3.21 and just use a sealer instead of a gasket. That is what I am doing.
