I've seen a lot of references to the Quartzsite rally in several treads here. I there a decent place to find info on this deal and how the GMC community is participating? I went to the web site for the actual event and it's..... how shall I say this, amaturish and most of the links don't work.

Looking at the dates and the location, it may be doable for me to go.

Hello Jeff,

Here is a schedule for the 49ers will be there and you can book space with them.they will be boondocking on BLM land and its 40 bucks for 14 days dry camping.Theres the Pacific crusiers and other clubs also holding events. They will be staying at the Rice ranch and i beleive its 23 dollars a night with hook ups.

I don't think you actually have to stay in the clubs but it might be nice to hang out with fellow gmcers.I am not sure how booked up the sites will be either.you can also contact Pacific crusiers i think is the other club having events.Theres going to be rv tent shows rock and gem shows and i guess cars etc etc etc.

Jeff,
Here's the Pacific Cruisers flyer:
http://www.gmcpc.org/docs2010/quartzsite.pdf
Directly across the street, a lot of the GMC folks will be dry camping
with the Bus Nuts, and some will be dry camping just a few blocks
south of Rice ranch on BLM land. There is also dry camping available
on Rice ranch. Check out the flyer, Chuck had a few spaces left as of
a couple days ago.
