I'm liking this GMail off-line editor more and more: I just tried to send
the reply to Karen in which I stated that the "...donut is attached to...".

When I hit SEND, a message box popped up saying "You used 'attached' but
didn't attach anything; do you want to send anyway?" or words to that
effect.

With that kind of help, I might send messages with missing attachments only
25%-50% of the time instead of 100%!

Huh! I'm lucky if I can keep this old brain engaged for that long!

Richard,

Here's where I found out about the beta, with a description and link. It's
dated Jan 09 so it's pretty mature; I've had no trouble with it. The "no
attachment" feature may be in the online version, but I rarely use that.
