I have been contemplating going to the 16" alcoa's but I dont have it in the budget now so I am looking to buy a 16.5" rim with or without tire. Basically I do not have a spare and would really like one!

Anyone have 1 or 2 they want to sell? I am located in Toledo, Ohio and can have them shipped to my work or if they are somewhat local, I can drive to pick them up.

Please feel free to contact me directly via email.

G'day,

Try contacting Tom Hampton of Grandview Motorhomes down in Marysville, OH.
He might have one lying around taking up space.

This is in the swap section...................
Maybe he wants to get rid of the last one.........

For what its worth I was able to get someone to come and pick mine up (for FREE, of course) by taking a picture of one and posting it on the bulletin board at the local grocery store. I think he was really only interested in the tires but I insisted that if he wanted the tires he had to take the wheels too. Actually, I only gave away 6 because I thought that perhaps, someday, I might find a good use for one of those heavy wheels.

I have two in my hanger that you can have if you want to drive to Valparaiso, Indiana. It is about 200 miles one way. They originally came from Mansfield, OH.

You are probably better off with one of the offers already made but if those are not practical, i will give you a rim for the price of shipping. UPS ground from 27944 might be less than the gas to get one of the offered rims above.

ya' know, Revcon owners can be nice people too. Wink

I have a couple in Syracuse, IN, reasonable driving distance from Toledo.
Good tread, but old tire on it.

Hello everyone! I just want to report that my new friend through GMC Net (Don Hart), graciously met me at the highway and donated a 16.5" rim and tire for my 78 transmode! So many of you have offered me rims and wheels and I still might take up some of you on those in the future. I just wanted to personally and publicly thank Don for his kindness and generosity.

Sadly I witness a man die at Meijer grocery store today and that really set me back a little reflecting on my life and what this time of year means to me, my family and friends. This generosity from Don and the entire GMC family is wonderful and I wanted to send this out to thank you all.

Please have a safe and happy holiday.

Best Wishes,

Jeff MacMillan

Jeff: Sure am glad you met my friend Don Hart. My coach is running well and is not leaking water under the sink thanks to Don and his willingness to share parts. I guess you know He is a past president of GMCES, and is a major reason for the clubs revitalization. A bunch of us owe Don an atta-boy..
