Yeah, BUT, chains don't work when the slushy snow is less than 1/2" deep
and the upgrade is over 9%.
Westbound, toward Wolfcreek Pass in Colorado, near the top.

Ron,
When your in a bind like I have been on a steep hill, I transfer as
much load to the front and get started diagonal to the fall line.
Sometimes I will back down to a parking place that is more level and
start from there.
Grace thinks I'm crazy, at at least we never got stuck yet.
