Does anyone have a spare set of GMC axle shafts with or without CVJs that
they are willing to part with?

I just picked up a set of Toronado CV axles and if the CVJs are good, I
would like to set them up as spares for my GMC.

Thanks,

Les Burt

Les, Michael told me at Pueblo that he has some in Houston. I want to get one to build and have available for the Black List call. I just can't afford to do it right now.

Well hopefully someone a little closer to me will have a set of the shafts
without CVJs that they would be willing to part with. I already need to
speak with Michael about some other parts I need, so I may just add the
shafts to my list.

Thanks,

How about that GMC that just got scrapped near Syracuse, NY? What is that? About 250 miles one way.

Les,

You've probably already considered this but it would be a good idea to
disassemble, clean, and inspect the CV joints before you have Michael send
you just the shafts.

If you haven't done it before keeping track of the 50; count 'em, FIFTY
needle bearings in the inner CV joints is lots of fun!

When you reassemble them consider using Valvoline SynPower grease, it's got
Moly in it.
