this summer i removed the old water pump and redid the whole fresh water area with new lines, new pump, new filter, new accumulator. Yesterday I finally had to go and winterize the coach as we finally got a real cold snap here in birmingham. I Had bought a nice new tank bypass to install and had forgotten this summer. Talk about tiny spaces! Between the pump, the accumulator, and the lines I had to run to keep them all from kinking I almost didn't have the space for the bypass. Had to use right angle pvc pieces in a couple spots because the tubing was kinking on me. Turned a simple job into a massive pain. Next year I'll go for the water heater bypass. That doesn't look like an easy job either. How do you get at those hoses??
Thanks,

The water heater radiator hose ends that are passed down thru the coach floor near the door, are easily accessible by removing the panel next to the door (the panel with the Onan remote control) . You can usually just detach it and slide it back to get to the fittings. The other ends, as well as the fresh water connections, are accessible by removing the bathroom cabinet underneath the sink. Don't try to do the job by just removing the sliding doors, the frame unscrews easily enough and opens up the whole area. I even leave that frame out when the coach is sitting unused, makes for an easy fresh water recharge before a trip.

G'day,
I'm confused! Why would you worry about the lines that connect to engine
block freezing? They're made of rubber and they have engine anti freeze in
them.
