I stumbled across this on another search. If they are actually of any value, they could be good for a coach on wet grass.

http://www.autosock.us

These are a fabric substitute for tire chains. They might do well on the front of a coach.

Personally, I'm not buying it until I see them work.

I've never tried the socks, but I keep a set of these Traction Mats in my coach, they worked great to get me up a slight incline out of a wet grassy campsite one time. They fold up and hardly take up any space too.

Have you ever tried Purex?? Makes your tires gummy. My first
experience was on the drag strip. Purex and water was used for
burnouts until it was outlawed. now just water. then I used it on a
motorcycle going over Donner pass when I got caught in a snow storm.
Worked good. At least better than going on my butt.<G> Now the wife
carries some in the GMC to do laundry. Figured I would try it if stuck
in ice or snow. Now mud is a different story............Terry

I had a GMC friend make me a pair of these out of expanded metal scraps He attached them together with hog rings. Mine are almost double the size of the Wally World ones and worked great the only time I tested them. I have not needed them since I got the Kuhmo tires but I still carry them folded up in my propane compartment just in case.

He never made any more because he said the steel was too expensive to make and sell them. Mine are about 8" by 40" and folded in four sections.

I'm going over to Wally world and see if they stock the plastic ones here. I'd like to see a pair of them up close.
