IMHO I agree, it could, be a hazard ,if not handled properly ,your
are right.I did a search locally for a hidden 110 vac plug. My search, was
not fruitful then , I should have searched further.Thanks for the
information.
using a Generator Interlock Kit and a Power Inlet Box would be an ideal way
to go.

Paul,
IMHO even having a cable like that around is a hazard. You have the
knowledge and experience to handle it safely, but who knows who else may get
it and plug it into a active socket on one end?
These inlet boxes are a little expensive compared to more standard items,
but well worth that cost:
