I've seen some very good pictures on the photosite with televisions mounted in the vacuum / pantry cupboard, over the dinette, and one that swings down from the ceiling! I'm half tempted to mount mine on the inside of the closet door, or hang it on the outside of the bathroom door.
I just picked up WalMart's cheapest only to find it doa. It goes back tomorrow.
We have no TV in the coach right now (I like it this way) but the CEO says we've got to be entertained. Like I'm not amusing enough, or something...
They just keep getting cheaper all the time so why not?

Larry, you did buy an HD tv right?! They too have come down in price and everythings being broadcast in digital pretty much anyway, and there are more channels. And no converter necessary.
Word of caution though. The 22" hd tv I picked up cheap from BestBuy as an open box special, turned out not to be compatible with my Sony PS3 for some reason . . . I wanted to use that on my last trip for the blu ray disc as a dvd player, had to settle for my old sony dvd.

With an imagination and plumbing skills like that, you could have
moved the bathroom anywhere you wanted. Since the buyer for our coach
fell through this past weekend, we have decided to go ahead and gut
the coach and remodel the insides. Your sink arrangment photo was
exactly what I want to do and the photo showed my wife how practical
that arrangement is.
Sure like the ideas one can garner from this net.

Ok, back to the original question. I have the same question and have debated this with my brother on placement. I've thought of all of the placements except the vacuum closet. I didn't think of that one. My coach for me is primarily a rolling fishing lodge, so I had planned on useing that closet for a fishing rod rack, concealed by a door. I then went the easy route and got a mountable rod rack from Bass Pro and mounted it above the couch area. It's worked out perfect for the fly and ultra light rods I have for trout fishing. Anyhow
the closet space is open for use. The debate with my brother, is that he is a no fuss kind of guy, so he suggeted placing it up on the kitchen counter when viewing is needed and then putting it away in storage when not. He has a good point.
Just thought of the additional place I thought would work, maybe.
I havn't taken measurements. I thought a screen of that size might fit on the upper cabinet door over the clothe drawers.
Put a gas shock or a locking swing hinge on the door and have it open for viewing. the only problem of that is the open exposure to anything that might bust the screen. Just some thoughts.

O it's a pickle to figure out. You know on my buddy's SOB there are lots of blank walls where a TV would be an improvement. On our coaches we have windows that are too nice to block. I'm swaying between the portable that sits on the cockpit floor or galley counter, or the TV mounted to the inside of the closet door.

But, if your needs or desires have changed it may be better to alter your existing coach than to start over with another.
What modifications do you most want to make.

Depends when you would watch it? My wife likes to watch ours a couple of hours before we shut down for the night. I mounted it on a swivel (flat screen ) at the foot of the bed and the dvd and satellite receiver are at the rear of the cabinet.

We have a 19-inch Toshiba. I was going to mount it on a swivel so it could
be seen from anywhere in the coach. Then I decided to just leave it
unconnected. When traveling is sits in the rear-facing dinette strapped to
the seat back. If/when we want to watch something I sit it on the kitchen
counter or wherever we want it. Sometimes it stays at home in the living
room where it sits in the corner on a table when not in use otherwise. About
half the time it doesn't get in the coach.
I have a cable connection in the Onan compartment. It goes from there to an
overhead cabinet where I have a tap. The line goes from there to the
connection in the front of the coach that goes to the antenna. We can watch
via cable where available or from antenna.
Flexible.

Not a bit of a problem Dennis,
I have a very low boredom threshold and it has kicked in. We don't
use the coach much and there are things I always wished I had done and
didn't. I take a lot of trips by myself and a 23 would have been
perfect plus, I could hot rod it any way I want.
I always wanted to go "light"! You're right, it is easier to work
with something paid for than to start over and that looks like what
I'm going to do.
We want a double wardrobe and a much longer kit counter. I also like
what Bob DeKruff did for "fridge" space and plan on stealing his
innovation and incorporating it into a remodel. A hideaway TV on
linear actuators, get rid of the couch etc, all matching seating.
Noone knew the coach was for sale as I didn't advertise it. It
doesn't have 1,000 miles on the running gear and suspension and Jim &
Janie Bounds put all of that on it. I'm already thinking of changing
the cam and intake setup out. Ideas, ideas, open pallet here.

I look forward to watching and learning as you proceed.
I do like the 23 ft coach size -- I had planned to keep ours original but too many probems sourcing fabrics; so I think it will stay fairly close but have upholstery changes. It is a lot easier for me to try to return the original to a good state of maintenance than to succeed at modifications -- for me mods are extremely time consuming in the developing and executing.
Anyway, when you finish the 26 you can still look for a 23.

I like where mine is mounted we can watch from both front seats spun around and the couch and table seats. Even view in the rearview mirror while driving. (OHH I didn't say that!!) Anyway Sucks when it's a subtitle movie.
I also have a 16 inch flip down in the rear section and a portable 19 inch that I simply set in the fridge vent section for nightly outdoor viewing all hooked up to run off one remote anywhere in or out of the coach,
All run through a 1200 watt 12 speaker surround sound system with 3 15" sub woofers , three seperate 400 watt amps with three full systems Mids High's and lows that work in the cab, the living area and the rear bedroom seperatly or together, Creates perfect theater sound quality at a very low sound level in all three rooms. All hidden in the walls other then the TV's you would never know it's there. Coach remains 100% stock looking within.
Also really piss's off the you young kids when the system out booms thier civics. Not that I,m into that?
You should hear my true Train horn that runs off the air system that feels good to let off when your cut off.
