Hi,
Those that are interested Kay and I are now home in Gawler East South Australia, we had a good flight home actual flying time was around 17 hours, took about 26 hours to get to our door as we had a couple of long waits for flights. Only problem encounted was a couple of plastic parts for the GMC were broken due to San Francisco dick head customs checking my luggage and not packing it as they found it, they just threw it back in and never even returned it to its boxes just threw in the empty box with the contents outside of it cosequently no protection and thus broken.
Had a great time while in USA especially the experiance of the rally in Pueblo, hope to make it again sometime.
Dissappointed That I was unable to find a suitable Jaguar e type series 1 bonnet, still looking so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks to the gentleman (who's name escapes me at the moment but he will know who he is) that put me onto the person in Dothan Alabama who has a hood (bonnet)
That is Wayne Bates where members went to see his car collection during the GMC rally held there. Wayne Bates was the owner of that hood and unfortunately it was a series 2 which is quite different to the series 1
Thanks to all and great to make new friends through GMCing
Peter Bailey
from Ozx (Aussie)
It is bloody hot here 36 C a lot different to our experiance of the snow in Cheyene

Peter,
Glad you're back safe and sound. It was nice to meet you.
I hope the broken pieces weren't what I think they were.
