I installed the 9245 last night by just swapping cables from the old Buzz box to the new intel charger.
The pendant light came on steady and stayed so for about 5 hours then and still now 10 hours later, the light on the pendant is flashing rapidly.
Is this normal? I am on shore power and running only the A/C but even before I turned on the A/C the light was flashing rapidly.
Just want to be sure this is working correctly.

Yikes - I just posted another thread before I read this one. Mine
flashes fast all the time. I think it's time for a call to PD...

Mine is not blinking every two to three seconds, it is blinking faster than once per second, that is why I asked.
I checked the voltage output and it is. 13.4-13.6

The light will flash fast for quite a long time until it goes into the storage mode. May be 2 to 3 days in fact. If it never stops the fast flash, you may have batteries which are going bad, or some small load that is on all the time, preventing the storage mode from working.
BTW, I have turned both of my PD's off for the winter as I will be away for months now, and don't want them to run totally unattended with no one ever checking them. The PD should be fine, but in case it develops a problem, I don't want it connected at all.

Rob,
Spot on Mate!
Jim B wired my radio into the house batteries through a fuse but no switch.
It has a lighted cover that stays on constantly. It is enough current draw
to effect the functioning of the PD-9260 that I installed. It takes awhile
before it figures out what's happening and switches to the maintenance mode.
I agree with you in as much it's not a good idea to leave the PD's powered
up when there's nobody around. In fact I don't like to leave ANY electrical
appliance on when there's nobody around! John Sharpe is kind enough to check
on Double Trouble every so often and power up the PD-9260 which brings the
batteries up to snuff. I also fitted a Pro-Fill System to the 12 VDC front
batteries and a Quick Fill System to the 6 VDC house batteries so they can
be easily serviced. These systems are available from Camping World.

Oh, sorry. I have sold my GMC with the PD in it. I have two other Trailers that both have PD's and those are the ones I have shut down for the months I will be gone from home.
I monitor the forum because I still love all the good people here, and the information I gather which is useful for my other camping rigs. I also still have photos posted of what I did on my GMC and they can be helpful for others who run into the same issues I worked on.
