I was reworking the brake system in my 77 eleganza and found a torn upper
dust (grease) boot on the upper ball joint, I was wondering where I could get
the boot alone the ball joint is ok. I would appreciate any help I can get those
joints are not cheap

Rivers,

I had a similar problem and JimK provided the correct boot. It is about as much work to replace the boot as the entire joint as you have to end up, at some point, with the joint out of the A-arm and loose from the knuckle.

I got mine at a local auto parts store. I think it was AutoZone but I'm not sure.
