Jay,

That is Mark Hougenbeck's (sp?) GMC over in the Netherlands and I am pretty
sure it was completed.

Somewhere there is a film of him starting the diesel for the first time.

Note the frame, it's GALVANIZED!

Like most of our GMC's, I'm not sure it will ever be "finished", but I
think Marc's using it. He pipes up here from time to time, so maybe
he'll comment.

Yes, It was "completed." (As much as anyone's GMC is completed. Laughing )

Lots of interesting ideas:
(off the top of my head, other than the diesel)
"Basement" AC under the Refer.
Onan converted to 220v.
Fuel inlets changed to curb side.
Twin superchargers (first)
twin turbos (second)
and a fan that will suck a cat through the radiator! Shocked

That looks sweet!

This is a statement that might discribe what happens to many when they get thier first GMC home:
Quote:

I decided to keep it and do a quickie rebuild so that we could begin using it. One thing led to another and now I am doing a deep, fanatical, no expense spared restoration.

Many begin to loose interest not long after... sad to see and a reason there are so many "projects." being sold.

I hope the above coach was finished by the guy who started it... It does look nice!

Thank you Ken! Those Aussies seem to need to mangle everything.

Yes, It is in use. I'll update the album as soon as I have the time.

Who was it that was showing how difficult it was to get up the street and into the "off camber" driveway? I deleted a lot of stuff and that was one. Why not tilt the coach to the left with the air bags before going up the hill? That would put more weight on the left front wheel, possibly giving it enough traction to pull into the parking spot. Of course, that's assume the weight transfer didn't stop you from going up the street...Need quick response air valves to instantly transfer weight from one side to the other..:-)

Marc,

Well at least I KNEW I hadn't spelled it correctly! ;-)

Do I get any points for saying you were in the Netherlands and not Holland?

Was I correct about there being a film somewhere of you starting it for the
first time?

If yes where can we find it?
