Dave Silva,
I got the point, and although now is not a good time to sell an RV, it sure is a good time to buy one. I just learned about Revcons this fall at a Tin Can Tourist Rally. A young couple came by to see my GMC during the "open house" part of the Rally and said that they had a Revcon. I went over to look at it thought it looked cool. It has it's good points (less weight is one), but I'll stick with my GMC. Parts availability and support from vendors and this forum are a few good reasons. My guess is you already have made a decision,  but you just haven't figured out how to implement it yet. Best of luck.

I have a pretty clear strategy. I'll use the revcon until it stops being fun then I'll sell it or part it out and find a GMC.

I will not make restoring it my life's work.

Lots of things that were "better" just aren't practical.

My worst fear is that we on a long trip I mangle a wheel bust a windshield. I could be waiting a long time.

Personally I have yet to find anything to compare to my GMC. It was
reasonably priced when I purchased it, and will bring a good return
when I sell it. At this point (15 years later) I could drive it off a
cliff and would consider it a good return just in friends I have
made...........Terry
