Good Morning

Saw this on Ebay, great price! Any opinions on quality? Would this be good to purchase for the future or should I stay away from it?

Ray,

Yes, thats a great price but I would never go through all it takes and install a stock style chain.  A double roller, true roller chain is @ $100 and never need replacing, it will not stretch like the single row cahin does.  The number of cuss words you have to come up with is the same, I would put in the best chain and gear set you can get.

Perfect feedback Jim, exactly what I was looking for. Looked too good to be true and that's why I put it out there. When the day comes that I need to do that.....I will put in the RIGHT one and pay the price ONCE!

Thanks

sometime trying to save a dime cost you more than you think, i got a GMC needing a motor, customer wants me to just do rods and mains, i told him he better take it to some other shop, if i am going to do a motor, i'll do it 100% right or i just will not get into it, well, the stock timing chain is great but as Jim B said, not worth it, spend the 100 bucks and just do it right and forget about it.
