These valve covers look to have the correct baffles if anyone is looking for a set to slow oil consumption.

Jim, there is a photo of the inside covers. You can see the metal baffles, 10 inches long, inside on one end. Just a flat piece welded in there under the hole for pcv valve. It is from middle to one end. Other end is jut plain valve cover. You have to know what you are looking for. I have a set in the garage and recently looked at them so I know what it looks like. I did have to put my glasses on to be able to tell it was there.

Dan,

Are these the same as stock
or would you call these an upgrade?

Not this Ebay set, but the idea in general.

Buzkin,

If you're talking about the valve covers on eBay they are ABSOLUTELY
POSITIVELY STANDARD OEM valve covers that came on the GMC.

I had mine off last month to check how much sludge there was in the heads
(virtually none) and replace the gaskets.

Dan,

I was half asleep when I looked at the pictures. After getting "burned" with that first set of shiny valve covers I'm a sceptic if I'm not sure of who I'm dealing with. If in doubt, I'll check in with Ken, Jeff or the two Jims. That has kept me from getting took with "bargains" in the past.

Just what I do.

Jim, that is best practice. If they have the valve covers and you need them buy from them. I was just pointing out that these look like the stock covers that I have.
