The way I see it, it's just like any other kind of
evangelism. One might consider the following quotes or
paraphrases:
"Build it and they will come."
(Got an idea of what and how? Okay, put money/time resources
into it. Take it to the end. Prove the statement true or false.)
"By their works ye shall know them."
(If one is concerned about the future of the GMC - or any
hobby-obsession - what are YOU doing? Are YOU driving YOURS
as much as YOU can to show it off, and prove the viability
of such vehicle? What else are YOU doing? Wishing - doing,
wishing - doing... Where are YOU on that scale? Results are
all that matters. Everything else is just gas.)
"Ich bin ein GMC'r"
(Really? See above. It's not "they" or "we", "somebody" or
"anybody". It's "I", "me" and the singular "you". The rest
takes care of itself.)

I've been following this thread. I always do when someone mentions promoting
our passion.
Rick's GMCers.org effort is great. It's static but it's great.
I also think GMCEast.com has more potential that I've taken it to so far.
But, if you haven't looked there for a document to customize and have for a
handout or another one to customize and place in your window while parked,
then you haven't begun to do the first thingŠthat is, do something of a
personal nature to evangelize.
I'm working at building more into a "Motorhome History" area. It'll link
to/from another vintage traveling link. Hopefully, some traffic will come
about. We'll see.
