I have 1978 Royale by Coachman that came with the Electro Level I. The PO
owner decided to upgrade to Electro Level II. The PO removed the old
Electro Level 1 system and installed the a new Electro Level 2 system, but
did not know how to rewire it for the Electro Level 2. So, I have a new
Electro Level II system and a pile of disconnected wires setting by it.

Does anyone know where there are any instructions and/or pics of a
conversion from and Electro Level I to Electro Level II that shows how it
should be rewired?

Any help would be much appreciated.

IMPO I have always though that the EL II system was a step down in
ride control for the GMC. I really think that the EL I was a much
better system. What you have on your hands now is a real bag of do
do! This is really a non document conversion as far as I know.
Going from the old air valves to EL I was very easy.

I have added links to the EL I documentation.

scroll down near bottom to Electro-level. The dwg appears to be very
small, just click to enlarge.

Dave, my coach VIN is TZEE368V100462 and it supposely came originally with
Electro Level I. I got it when the PO was converting it over to Electro
Level II and none of the wiring will hookup because it is much different
than the Electro Level I connections. Thats the headache I'm dealing with
now. Hard to put Humpty Dumpty back together again when you never saw what
it look like to start with.

As someone else suggested it probably would be best to leave it as it
came from the factory. Why bother-? ElectroLevel I worked well enough.
