Yesterday it stopped raining here and I had a short time window to get the GMC into it's winter indoor home. It needed to be washed as it was parked under my big elm, which means whatever that tree film is, and squirles and birds drop was on it. With a soft truck wash brush on a fiberglass painters pole, jug of Mothers California Gold wash and the heavy 3/4" garden hose I was out to get it done as fast as possible. What a great workout. When on the roof you get the core hit trying to remain stable and not go off the slippery slope with no return. You have to bend over for the hose and climb the ladder. And all that back and forth with the brush setup hits the upper body as you do the sides, brush end up for the top 2/3 and brush end down for below the belt moulding. All why trying to not miss a spot. I think it took 20 mins but you can easily modulate your heartrate by taking it easier. And when you are done, you have accomplished something (feel good) you won't get at the health club. Happy washing.
