I was one of the folks that bought a pair of Lumina wiper arms from Keith V. Unfortunately, I had already tossed the originals before I was aware I was supposed to knock the knurled inserts out, so I had none to transfer over. I ended up buying the whole shebang from Jim K (with inserts), so I have an extra pair.

Same price I paid for from Keith V: $35 plus shipping. PayPal also accepted. Larry eight-five-eight 349-6472 or lengelbrecht at sandi.net

Hi Wayne,

Can you send me the address you want me to send your wiper arms? I checked my PM and e-mail but still haven't received it.

Thanks.

Hi Larry,

Before we go any further on this deal I would like to confirm something.
Are these wipers the same ones that you bought from Keith? Is everything there except the rubber insert? Do they look just like the photo?
Here is the photo that Keith posted:
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=29546

If these are the same ones shown in the photos and nothing that can be seen in the photo is missing I will still take them. If not, then you can go to paypal and give me a refund.

If you received paypal payment then you got my address as paypal always has that information on the email that informs you that you received payment.

However here it is again. I will post it here on the net and also send it to your email address.

Yes, they look just like those minus the wiper blade/insert and the knurled metal insert (which interfaces the wiper arm and the wiper spindle, which sticks out forward from the body and engages the arm itself via that knurled insert). I'll post a pic of that knurled insert as well as the arms when I get back later today.

I finally figured out where your e-mails ended up - they were sent to my wife's e-mail (same as our PayPal account so I can see why you sent them there), and not my own. She assumed the e-mails were also sent to me. If you had replied directly to my e-mails, I would have already received them. Hers is engelbrecht6@yahoo.com and mine is lengelbrecht@sandi.net - where I had been sending you e-mails from. I don't get notifications of her incoming e-mails like she does which explains why I assumed you weren't replying.

Arms on the box as received:

Knurled inserts that you need to change out from your existing ones. These are NOT included - I did not get them from Keith V. You need to transfer these from your existing arms as my ad clearly stated:
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c347/LarryInSanDiego/062909026.jpg
Check my e-mail address again that I sent from to you on June 23 and today before you posted the above. Also the post right above yours. Please notice it's NOT my PayPal address (my work often blocks/filters a variety of sites, such as craigslist and countless others including PayPal). Also, I included my cell phone number in every correspondence I sent to you (my records show no incoming calls from you either). If you don't want the wiper arms, I'll be more than happy to refund your money and sell them to someone else.

Hi Larry,

I noticed that the metal pieces that hold the inserts are missing.

I do NOT want them. I am sorry for any trouble on my part.

Please issue me a paypal refund. There will be no paypal fees charged to either one of us (if you use the paypal issue refund option) and we are both back to the same as we were before we started to deal.

Do not use the send money option as we both will be charged a fee. Instead use the issue refund option.

Thanks
Wayne

I haven't a clue what "metal pieces that hold the inserts are missing" as all I need to do is press in the discussed knurled inserts and blades and it's a done deal, ready to bolt on with a couple of spacer washers as discussed in previous Lumina wiper arm threads.

Either way, full refund was issued this afternoon. See your PM/e-mail for details.

Larry,
I think he means the "metal pieces that hold the inserts are missing" are the wiper blades (the metal and rubber that goes against the glass) that you can buy at Wally for about 4 bucks each. Although I've found it's pretty hard to just find the rubber blade 'refills' any more as the refill and the new blade are now pretty cheap.

I assume you are talking about the wiper blade refills?

It's near impossible to find refils to fit wiperblades unless you know what company made the current wiper blades.
I've spent hours trying different refills for blades and have given up. sometimes they work, often they don't.

It's easier to just buy the blade, they just snap on.

Next time I have a set of arms to sell they will come with good blades. More expensive, but it will save a bunch of hassle for everyone.
