NOAA has posted a severe storm warning for East TN. Thunderstorms, hail
and potentially 60 MPH winds for Saturday and thunder storms continuing
through Sunday.
Hope everybody sealed up those roof leaks before going and everybody
stays safe.
Ken- those cigarettes are going to get very soggy and hard to light in a
wet tee shirt....

Samsel Farm is not a good place to be for such weather: a steep, exposed
hillside and the only "safe shelter" is a big barn with a open-sided area
attachments.

How well I remember those horrible tasting sweat-soaked things in the S. GA
humidity. Can't imagine what possessed us to smoke the darned things.

"Can't imagine what possessed us to smoke the darned things."

So I could make a good living and retirement and almost afford a GMC!

Jim-
The front approaching tonight looks like most will pass just South of
Bean Station as well. Hold tight and stay dry as well.

Fred, you should have been here. Those trains will be around later, Bean Station won't always be here. We have had really good weather here, believe it or not. Seems everything went to Knoxville and missed us up here.
You coming to Lexington?

Dang it. I think your name is at top of the list for president.
Sorry you can't be there. Payback is rough though.

We booked acccomodations at a nearby B&B. Quaint, clean and homey.
The motel, at the time we were there, was a dump.
