March of 2022 I was given a 1977 GMC Kingsley. It had been sitting in a storage unit and never moved for eight years. Upon receiving all the paper work from previous owner I discovered that he sighed the title as buyer but never sent it in for processing. Coach was stored in Colorado and previous owner now lives in North Carolina. Coach was inoperable, bent bogie on passenger side, dead batteries, 17 year old tires and two were flat. I got the unit running and proceeded to get it to my home in Wyoming on July 27th. Previous owner has a son that also lives in Wyoming (35 miles from me), added his name to the title and he finally got the title processed (sat on all information for 4 months). Sales tax had to be paid, and in Wyoming there is a 1% fee on unpaid taxes after 60 days of title being signed. Original price of purchase was $11,500 at 5.6% tax= $644. Here is the kicker fees at 1% a month amounted to $750. That's $1394 Wyoming collected to process the title.

Normally you wouldn't sign the title but it was through an estate sale and most likely in front of an attorney.
