So I pretty much wore out the leather cover on my steering wheel over the last 14+ years and 69,000 miles and I want to replace it. The current one is sort of a Grant Classic, three spoke wheel, 14-1/2" in diameter with a 1-1/2" dish, and a nine bolt mounting pattern.
I'm thinking a deeper dish would bring the steering wheel out to a better ergonomic position and I would like the spokes to be flatter so I can see my gauges better. I've been looking on line on all the usual places and some not so usual places, but would like to benefit from the group experience, so any input to help with my decision would be welcomed.
Thank You

I like keeping it real GM parts. I’m using a leather wrapped Buick T Type 3 spoke wheel used on 80s Regals and Rivieras. The saddle brown (rare) is an exact match to my Eleganza dash. The most common color is grey from the Grand Nationals. There was a lady doing perfect leather restorations but she retired.

John, Do you know of a source for these?

On a lighter side, I have one of those beautiful steering wheels with the oak center and the leather grips, I believe Tom Whitton made, We were at a classic RV show a few years ago and some young kid thought the whole RV was great except for the steering wheel, he wanted to know why everything was made new and I left the old steering wheel in it. His dad looked at me and just shook his head
