Finally finding the time to install aluminum intake, exhaust block off plates, and Howell EFI along with all new fuel lines, electric fuel pumps, surge tank, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was inside. I couldn’t find a single dreaded “cookie” inside, and the exhaust had never been blocked. There is about 60k on the engine - am I just lucky? I was expecting a real mess once I pulled the intake!

Unsure of what upgrades may have been done. I'm working on sorting that out in the coming months.

Was full synthetic oil used? It has a higher coking point.
