One of my camber adjusting bolts is stripped. Ive looked around local stores and even at Rock Auto.
None to be found.
Is this something that can be found at the local junk yard?
I do see Jim K has them listed but I’d like to get this put together tomorrow.

I bought a couple from DJ Eberhardt. He has the Grade8 fine thread machined bolt and tall nut. The ones you found in California look like the ones that Moog is selling. The Moog ones have regular threads, more of the shaft machined away, and the discs do not have the radius that allow them to sit flat on the UCA. The square edge catches on the UCA and cause them to dish before they reach the UCA and clamp; sometimes the bolts strip as well.
Maybe you can find an OEM set from a parts coach or, I understand Toronados have the same arrangement.

That is a tough one. I think that is a rare problem part. Alex F was making his own. The moog ones are junk.

Dang,
Maybe I’ll just get a standard bolt and file one side flat, as long as it’s a common size it’s probably not that hard

Some Toronado bolt assemblies may fit in an identical manner to the TZE setup, but in my experience the design of the Toronado bolt is slightly different. The cam nearest the bolt head is permanently mounted to the bolt so that it prevents the bolt being inserted in the normal way -or at least that's what I found when I used one as a temporary replacement.
Maybe some years of the Toronado part is a direct replacement, but the one I got wasn't. I had to install the bolt backwards to get it to fit and eventually got a replacement bolt from DJ.
Whatever you do, keep the original cast cams - all the aftermarket stamped ones are useless.

Call DJ; he may have some advice for making your own, or can ship one out quickly.

This thread reminded me that when I finally found someone to do the
alignment several weeks ago the tech said that the bolt on the passenger
side released once on him and he did not want to torque it any more.
Figure I need to replace the bolt and totally put it out of my mind
until now.
Does anyone have a part number that can be used to find a replacement?
Or even a target year for a Toronado? I would happily buy it from Jim,
but his site says that it is unavailable and he usually is pretty up
front if he has an item to sell.
Thanks.
