Hey Gang,
On our '73 with the original vent/light unit over the stove the fan motor has died.
I repaired it once and it lived another two years, but has now cooked the field windings and is dead.
I've been searching for a 12v motor that is 3" long with a 1/4'dia d-shaft and am not having any luck.
We cook a lot in our coach and need the vent fan so I Will be finding a solution.
Any ideas?
Doug

Do you have the tag on the motor? If you do try Google search. The last motor that I needed for a home HVAC system was easy to find that way.

Doug,
I admit that it is essential. I replaced mine with 4 computer fans behind the (reinforced) cabinet that the microwave hangs from. They are a lot quieter and move more air but they are not as easy to clean.

So, if you want just the motor, it is yours. If you want the entire thing - same. Just let me know.

If you are planning to make the international, I could bring it along.

Matt
