Working on installing my new electric gauges, (oil, temp and volt). I called the Autometer tech help line to see how I would install these and still maintain the original OEM gauges. I thought I would have to do a T at the oil sensor to add my new one but the tech said there was additional ports to access with the new sensors for both oil and water. Is that true for the Olds 455?

Thanks,
TG

Tom,
On some intake, there are casting that has the reinforcement ridges to
allow for coolant sensors.
Oil pressure , use a T fitting .
That is why the Digi Panel instruments are populer to use , as it is simple
to hook up and has warning that others do not have.

I’ve heard that is a good gauge Jim. Kinda traveled down this road a ways. Will consider it on another year.

Thanks,
TG
