Hello,
I'll soon be driving a new-to-me '75 Eleganza.
I am thinking to install a mount for an iPad mini and then use a mapping app along with a bluetooth GPS sender (Bad Elf for example).

I am wondering:
Has anybody done a similar set up and do you have a moment to comment on the pros and cons?
How have you mounted the iPad?

I got a cheap Fire tablet and a dongle that lets me do CarPlay onto it from my iPhone.

This is a cheap way to go since your phone already has a data plan and GPS.
