Greetings.

First time posting here.

I have a 1978 GMC, 26’, I would like to sell. It is located in Brunswick, GA and is a project that I was started years ago and stopped when I retired, moved away, got married, etc, and never got back to.

It’s been partially gutted inside, but has the original frig, kitchen area, heater, shower area, Onan/original propane tank and rear bed area unchanged.

I’ve put Alcoa rims and new tires on it, (seven w/ the spare) have for wheel disks, new shocks, front end
bearings installed. It has new side windows installed, new mirrors and bucket seats in the drivers area.

Now the kicker… it’s bee sitting for nine years, outside, at Canal Road Storage, Brunswick GA.

The trans was rebuilt 10 years ago, and it and the tires and rims have 2,000 miles on them when it went into storage.

I would love to restart the project but health, family responsibilities take precedent for me at this point.

I’ll send pic’s, taken last month, if anyone is interested in buying it.

It would have to be towed and I haven’t started it in all that time.

I would have to travel to GA to take anyone interested in to see the interior, so I would need some lead time to travel there. (Two days drive)

Thanks for reading.

(Any suggestions, comments and ideas are welcomed.)

Greg

Greg,
Your coach is in Dixielanders country. I suggest that you contact them. You should tell people where you are so they
understand what this will take to clear it up.
Best of luck
Matt

Greg,
For you or the next person to own this coach, if it really has not been started for, as you say for 10 yrs, read this article before you even turn the engine over. Reading it may save that engine from self destruction. JWIT

Folks,

Thanks for all the reply's,support and assistance.

And I apologize for not responding to several of you, still getting the hang of using this site.

I sold the GMC last week, the new owner is going to continue the restoration and was able to drive it onto a lowboy for transport.

He is quite excited to get going on his project and I am glad it's gone to a good home.

Thanks everyone!
