You fiddle, mess, and work on the coach. It's developing into your vision of what you wanted/dreamed of it being. As you get close to that vision of 100%. That's when the money issue starts to fade away. It's in the years that fallow in your travels. That you become cognizant. Of how grateful you are. That you kept that vision, and dream alive.
5 and a half years ago. We embarked on building this second 78 Royale. I gutted it to an empty shell. I put a pad in front of Linda. And said. Make me a list of features that you want in the GMC of your dreams. (She thought that I'd be stumped on the hamper, and linin closet. She even got those.) I then made my list. 5 months later. Our vision rolled out of the garage that I built for our first Royale. As I built this second Royale myself. That original vision has paid off big time. It's been a dream to travel in. As we met that vision with every mile that we cover. Life is short. Make each day worth it. Plus Be kind to others around you.

Saw some of your pics on the coach and it looks nice. You and Linda are traveling in style! So glad you guys are traveling so extensively, it give me hope to do the same when the pandemic gets under control.
Yes totally agree Bob, we have to start treating each other with respect and kindness. In my past life I had been very fortunate to be part of a very talented design team for the projects the engineering consultant firm I worked for. One of the most important elements the management looked for was of course how well you worked with the team. Opinions differed many times but those got resolved quickly because the project had to continued on. Everyone maintained a respectful professional relationship. Really would like to see more effort in being civil these days, would go along way for us all! Your a good guy Bob! Your contribution to our group is undeniable! I appreciate all your good help you’ve given me.

Thanks again!
TG

Judy and I have made several cross country excursions in our 78 Royale.
Some lasted longer than 6 weeks. One across Canada through the Canadian
Rockies with several other GMC's, most of them with Canadians.
Occasionally, we review the pictures that we and others took along the way.
We found out that daily sharing with the other GMCers of pictures
insures against camera failures, etc. We download into each other's lap
tops, zip drives, etc.
But, BY FAR THE MOST ENJOYABLE, is the personal experiences and
lasting friendships that are made along the way. We met our Maid of honor
and Best Man through our gmc community. Best friends forever. Venture
forth, enjoy yourselves, relish the new found friends, plan for more
tomorrow. Get involved with GMC Clubs. Look for the best in people. You
won't go far wrong with Bob's advice.
