Halleluiah!
The traveling GMC Front wheel bearing puller was last mailed via USPS
Priority Mail on November the 3rd from Galien, MI to Bethlehem, PA. It was
supposed to arrive within the week.
It finally arrived today.
The person receiving it has already made other arrangements to borrow
another nearby GMCer. There was another borrower in the que in Seattle but
he gave up and bought one from Gary Bovee.
This tool has been passed around for 6 years this month. It's been borrowed
and used successfully by dozens of GMCers. Received required maintenance
along the way and recently got a new shipping case. It's a real testament
to GMCers helping GMCers.
The owner in PA will hold it until the next request comes along. Hopefully
the post office will do a little bit better job of upholding their Priority
Mail promise to deliver in 3 days.

Thanks for the tale Billy.
It's always heartwarming when a good idea hits a bump and keeps on going.

I have been noticing that a lot lately
6 days for first class to the next county.
13 days to travel 100 miles east of me first class.
2 weeks ago UPS took 6 days to deliver an overnight envelope.
Fed-ex took 9 days to deliver an overnight envelope with a car title in it from about 80 miles away. On the delivery day I got a status update saying that it was on the truck out for delivery. Then at 13:05 I got another update saying it was in Memphis, TN.
They are all pretty bad right now.

Oh great. My GMC ownership was sent express tracked supposed to arrive Friday (tomorrow), coming from Ontario to BC.
I read this thread so checked the tracker.
You guessed it, it's still in Ontario as of 4 oclock Thursday afternoon.
