One if the local car guys came up with a VSS from a Camaro.
In the vise, spun it with a drill with a Oscilloscope on the output.
It’s a sine wave.
I’m using the Dakota Digital buffer box, so I have the outputs that I need for the EBL and the cruise.
Thanks for the help.

Just staying close, but still going (masked) to Dr. appointments and
grocery shopping as necessary. We get an occasional visit from our kids,
but not often. How 'bout Y'All?

It’s been really kind of strange.
WV has been spared the brunt of the pandemic health wise, but the economic costs are staggering.
I spent a few months on the governors re-opening committee, until it became painfully obvious that the input from the medical and business people in the state were over ridden by his political director (it is an election year, lest we forget). Three quarters of the committee quit at the same time (all the volunteers). Great group. Opinions all over the map, especially from the medical people.
I appreciate your being careful. My Mom is doing the same, but is about to leave her village for the first time this year and head to my sisters in North Carolina. Going home will be a mandatory two week quarantine (unless things change)
Daughter Leah (Pitt Law 2023) is being recruited heavily by the Marines, and she’s preparing for the Fitness test, so I expect her to go for it. Since most of the retired military I know are Air Force, the competing branch has been greeted with boos, but positive about serving her country. I’m not complaining about not having to pay for the next two years of law school.
I’ve been out to a few “unofficial” GMC get togethers. All different levels of compliance with masks, but everyone seemed generally respectful of each others needs regarding distancing and the like. I think that’s good. Virginia beach was fun (6 coaches). The work rally in Baltimore was great as well. I finally have the front end dialed in the way I want it.
I’m going to put the coach back on the dyno next month. It’s running great closed loop, but I want to tweak the mapping. I think it’s rich open loop. The first run in the fall was a challenge. The dyno has a separate O2 sensor that is generally put in the tailpipe. It has a vacuum pump (venturi) to bring the gasses in, but the long exhaust system on the coach was a problem timing wise. I’ll likely drop the collector on one of the headers for the next run.
Other than that, I’ve been doing well.
Sorry to hear that the wipers are about done. Its really a huge improvement for the coach.
Keep in touch.
