Re-sending this from Friday as it does not seem to have gone anywhere. I've been having trouble with my ISP's spam filtering. Sad

Hi all,

I just found out while getting ready to put new shoes on the Birchaven that Firestone Tire Shops has a $100 discount on $500 or more sale November 11-1.

Since my tires have all aged out by a year or more I arranged for 6 tires mounted and balanced for about $926. (note: there's no sales tax in Oregon). I was also quoted $894 at another Firestone store so maybe there's an even better deal somewhere but I would have to drive much farther on questionable tires to get to that store.

If you still have steel wheels that's not a bad deal IMO. If someone knows something better please let me know before I confirm the transaction.

Thanks

Stu

Yupper - That is a good deal - about $125.00 cheaper than my normal cheap pricing in the Midwest.
Thanks for the heads up!
Mike/the Corvair a holic

Firestone tires are made in the USA and work well.
Some of the ones from RED China are disappointing.
They fall way short.
