Last year when I got my 73 Canyonlands, I logged it on the registry site. Being a history buff, I like these places that help maintain the story of our vehicles. Today I was registering in the 76 Palm Beach I just got and have a few questions. After searchiong the forum but didn't find what I was looking for, decided to make a thread to put the resultant info out there rather than just email Mr Massey.
1. Looking at the map of where registered coaches are supposed to be, I noticed no dots anywhere near where my 73 is registered.
2. When registering online, it "accepted" the form before I was finished. My fault- hit enter instead of tab- Do I just re submit the whole form? Will that cause a problem?
3. Sure would like to be able to make use of some of the information gathered, is there a search tool I'm missing - don't see any way to access info, either general (other than a couple very general tidbits), or more specific as to some history on coaches in ones possession (privacy rights to prev owners observed, of course).
I want to make it clear I am in no way trying to criticize the hard work Mr. Massey and his predecessors have done, just want to make sure I'm doing it right and to understand the history of my rigs.
Thanks and cheers!

Thanks Jeremy. I don't know Shanes message originated on the forum. He is subscribed to the email list but was listed as digest only for some unknown reason. This might've been why it wasn't forwarded.
Anyway, everything Jeremy said is true. There is no search engine. The info contained within is just between you and I with nothing shared publicly. The database is not online at all.
Just re-submit the missing info or the whole thing again. I'll make it work.

The registry is private. Sometimes Billy posts funs statistic data, but there are no live feeds, the map is not current.
If you email Billy he will tell you any history of your VIN that is contained in the registry. You also can just email Billy updates without
submitting the form.

OK, thanks. I'll resubmit. I just didn't want to make more work for you than necessary.
As to where my posts go, never been able to figure that one out. I signed up early last year and have posted (always from the forum) a fair amount and have never seen my original posts show up on the email digest. Always got the answers I was looking for so never really worried about it.
Hakuna Miata, as I always say sometimes.
Cheers.
