I see that FrostyCool can apparently be used in place of Ducal and is only $49.95 per case of 12.

Anyone know of any other substitutes?

"12a HYDROCARBON REFRIGERANT (12a) is a mixture of hydrocarbons specifically purified propane (R-290) and isobutane (R-600a), ... Common trade names include: Duracool®-12A, RED-TEK 12A, Enviro-Safe, Frosty Kool and others. The difference between the products is mostly the R-290 to R-600 ratio, ... In practice, the required weight of 12a needed to give the same refrigeration capacity and performance as R12 or R134a, is between 35% and 40% of the original system charge by weight...."
