I am the new caretaker of RCJordan's Birchaven.

I will be back often with many many questions.

Something else to consider with the same symptoms (not that a low
battery couldn't be the problem)

When we acquired our 73 Eleganza II it had intermittent ignition. It had
the MSD HEI ignition system and the 1/4" crimp connector on the
distributor photointerruptor wire was loose causing a 'no spark' until
you wiggled it a bit.

Another possibility if the problem re-occurs.

What's with R C? He had some health problems and I haven't heard from or about in months.
