Need info. on towing a 1975 GMC motorhome on the road ,not trailered. What needs to be prepped on motor home drive train etc. Any info would be great. Ron

Front wheels up? Not four down? More details about tow distance involved might be interesting. Blown motor or broke trans?

Ron,

Despite all the answers, I still don't know whether the front frame has been
removed (we call it the "clip").

Without that frame in place, there is no structure in the forward 6'+ of the
GMC that can be used to attach towing equipment, nor to allow the coach to
be safely moved onto a trailer.

Please tell us your location; some GMCer nearby may be able to help you.

the bare front frame (clip?) is there sans A arms and torsion bars.i've
arranged for the tow. thanks guys for
